Geordie Gas Man coming back to The Alps

You probably guessed last June that I had a great time and I'd love to do it all again. There's nothing I can fault with the trip last year and would love to repeat it. The choice of hotel was perfect, small, friendly, handy for the town centre but tucked out of the way so the bike was secure. Bourg itself is a charming town with plenty to do and see and within easy striking distance of Italy and Switzerland and some stunning mountain roads and passes. Meeting the other group members was fun, the size of the group was ideal and I would imagine from your point of view it was a manageable size. Hugh was great and very hospitable, I look forward to seeing him again sometime. I liked the way the tour was informal and not too organised but really enjoyed the fact that I didn't have to worry about the planning and having someone to follow on the wrong side of the road was very reassuring. The first and last days were possibly a bit tiring for me as I had quite a distance to travel but I'd rather do it over 2 days than drag it out over 3.

Can you see where this mail is going Bill?     Yep! I'm interested in a replay this June. Do you have a place left for me please?

Well of course Clive!  Come along again in 2005 on your new, big Bandit.
